2015-2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost aFe Twisted Steel Down-Pipe (Race)
aFe power introduces an all new Twisted Steel "Race" Down-Pipe for the Ford Mustang EcoBoost 15-16 with I4-2.3L engine. This downpipe is designed using 3"mandrel-bent, 304 stainless steel tubing for optimum flow resulting in added horsepower and torque. In house, testing produced a max gain of +13 horsepower and +15 ft. lbs. of torque verified by our in house dyno. The downpipe is 100% hand TIG-welded and includes a second bung for either a wide-band O₂ gauge or auxiliary instrumentation.

Connection Pipes:

Testing:
•In testing, the "street" down-pipe produced a max gain of +13 horsepower and +15 ft. lbs. of torque verified by our in house dyno (tested on 2015 Ford Mustang I4-2.3L (t))
Performance and Sound:
This system was designed as a "Race Only" version for added performance and a more aggressive sound.

100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds reducing stress cracks.
Brushed 304 SS Construction:
This downpipe is constructed of durable mandrel bent brushed 304 stainless steel tubing for maximum performance, corrosion resistance and strength eliminating cracking.

All hardware is included for a hassle-free installation. This unit also comes with a 2-year warranty.
O₂ Sensors Bungs:
This downpipe uses factory mounting locations for the O₂ sensor and includes an additional bung for either a wide-band O₂ gauge or auxiliary instrumentation.

Full 3" Systems:
3"Inlet/3" Outlet connection pipes mount directly to the aFe performance Cat-Back P/N: 49-33084 for a full 3" system.
aFe down-pipes are engineered and manufactured in our Corona, California manufacturing facility.
This is a "Race Only" product used solely for competition. Its use is limited to closed-course and open-course racing that is formally sanctioned by a recognized racing organization. Any other use including recreational off-road use could be in violation of local, state and federal laws. This system is not currently CARB exempt and is not available for sale in California or for use on any vehicle registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicle.
