Some of our more poular models explained below:
Form-Fit:
Our Most LUXURIOUS Indoor Cover...Fits like a glove and the sheared cotton fleece on the inside is the softest finish you can put on a vehicle for indoor storage. Designed for cars that are not daily drivers, Covercraft's Form-Fit® car covers provide a body-hugging fit and a super soft inside to pamper fine paint finishes. We start with an outer shell of woven knit polyester that has Lycra/Spandex® added to the yarns to provide stretch and memory - the stretch provides the body-hugging fit and the memory assures the cover will retain its shape over an extended period of time.
Evolution:
Kimberly-Clark's (K-C) Evolution fabric, provides an excellent protection value in all weather conditions. Often imitated, but never equaled, U.S.-made Evolution® fabric car covers are used by millions of car enthusiasts around the world. Evolution® has the highest UPF rating to provide maximum protection against damaging UV rays. Polypropylene fibers are bonded into a durable 4-layer non-woven finish that includes a soft bi-component inner layer of polyethylene and polypropylene fibers. Our most popular all-weather car cover fabric.
Dustop:
Maximum protection against dust. If you want a car to be as clean when it's uncovered as it was when covered, this is the fabric to use. The lightweight design allows for easy use and storage. Softest against fine paint finishes and almost totally dustproof. The top two layers are polypropylene / polyethylene spunbond with a meltblown polypropylene middle layer to provide a superior barrier against dust. Soft, high-loft composite spunbond inner layer pampers and protects the vehicle's finish. Multi-layer construction provides substantially better dust protection compared to traditional woven material.
WeatherShield HP:
Over 25 years ago Covercraft partnered with Nextec Applications, Inc., a technology leader that pioneered a new process for creating performance fabrics used primarily in the outdoor clothing industry.
By using precise polymer placement and special chemistries, they were able to place protective finishes inside the fabric, encapsulating the actual woven fibers to transform ordinary fabric into extra-ordinary! The encapsulation processes, methods and equipment are protected by more than 51 patents issued or pending in the U.S. and internationally.
Working with Nextec's extensive R&D resources Covercraft created what is considered the perfect fabric for outdoor or indoor vehicle protection. EPIC® by Nextec's encapsulation process delivers all weather protection, compact packability, easy care, and a soft-to-paint touch without sacrificing breathability.
Noah:
NOAH® barrier fabric actually resists moisture, yet it breathes to allow any trapped moisture, seam seepage or condensation to easily evaporate. The unique construction process (patent pending) results in a cover with maximum all-weather protection... highly water resistant, dust resistant, UV resistant and breathable to help make sure moisture and/or heat don't stay under the cover. Made in the U.S. by Kimberly-Clark, the fabric weighs only 4.75 oz./sq. yd., so it's easy to handle and fold. High-tech, bonded 4-layer composite uses bi-component side-by-side technology for twin spunbond outer layers, a film barrier, and a soft bi-component spunbond inner layer.
Two outer layers of bi-component spunbond, utilizing side-by-side spinning technology. Each individual fiber is a balance of polypropylene and polyethylene that delivers both strength and softness. The light gray color does not attract heat and the dual layers are treated with UV inhibitors for extended outdoor use.
The barrier layer is breathable film, a proprietary stretch-film technology developed exclusively for Kimberly-Clark. The film is stretched and then subjected to a chemical process that creates microscopic holes smaller than droplets of water or dust, yet large enough to allow moisture vapor and heat to escape. This helps reduce the bulk of the nonwoven fabric, while providing an almost solid barrier against the elements.
A single, heavier layer of bi-component spunbond, utilizing side-by-side spinning technology. This heavier, single layer (as compared to a single outer layer) provides the soft touch necessary for today's water-based paint finishes.
